Welcome to Massage Therapy in Stewkley, Bucks !
With more than 25 years of experience as a
massage therapist and extensive training in different techniques, I have
worked with clients of all ages with a wide range of problems. I
provide individual care tailored to the client's particular needs on the
day of treatment.
I am an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist - trained by the Jing College of Advanced Massage Training based in Brighton. Clinical Massage is focused on outcome based treatments e.g. increasing range of motion, reduction in pain. It takes the whole person in to account so will consider lifestyle, psychological factors which may be involved, but will also consider that the site of the pain/problem may not actually be where the problem arises from. It uses a whole variety of techniques drawn from Eastern and Western theories and can be highly effective at addressing chronic pain problems.
I have also added Hot Stone Massage to my treatments. This training was also with Jing Institute and involves the use of hot, and sometimes cold, stones in a clinical massage treatment which can really enhance the effect of the massage itself. This treatment really does have to be experienced to understand the additional benefits which the use of the stones brings - my clients love it!
Treatment of Scar Tissue using Myofascial and other techniques can bring great results visually but can help enormously with longstanding problems associated with the adhesions which scar tissue can cause.

- Headaches and migraines
- Stress, tension and anxiety

else can massage help?
massage can help to combat stress in everyday life and is also an
excellent way to support the body if it is subject to repetitive
movements and/or a sedentary lifestyle.
is ideal to help sports people to remain injury free, and to help in
rehabilitation after an injury. It is also a very effective support
for someone who is taking up a new form of exercise – to help the
therapy works very effectively on a physical level but people are
often surprised at how much it can also help on an emotional level
too. This means that it can often bring unexpected benefits to the
client and many of my clients will also use treatments to support
them through a particularly difficult and stressful time.
